New Moon in Gemini Tuesday, June 3, 12:23 pm PDT, 3:23 pm EDT The New Moon in Gemini seeds a multitude of ideas and opens new channels of communication. Yet with its ruling planet Mercury stuck in reverse until the 19th, avoid information overload to maintain a semblance of intellectual order. Vivacious Venus joins the New Moon, adding beauty and social skills, enlivening relationships and artistic impulses. A supportive sextile from Mars in dramatic Leo adds a playful tone favorable for flirting, empowering creativity and enriching self-expression. Pluto in Sagittarius Friday, June 13 Potent Pluto slinks back into Sagittarius for an encore appearance through November 26, providing one more chance to eliminate excessive judgment and prejudice. Extreme opinions and moralizing arise to remind us of the dangers of philosophical rigidity and religious fundamentalism and the wisdom of keeping an open mind. Venus in Cancer Wednesday, June 18, 1:49 am PDT, 4:49 am EDT The love planet's visit to cuddly Cancer evokes a desire for safety and security. Relationships grow tender, exposing vulnerability and an urge to return to the past. Nostalgia makes days gone by seem more attractive than the present, but emotional attention is needed in the here and now. We should be more careful in how we connect with others, recognizing the mutual uncertainty we all feel. Kindness is especially valuable as our willingness to nurture and be nurtured builds lasting bonds. Full Moon in Sagittarius Wednesday, June 18, 10:31 am PDT, 1:31 pm EDT The Full Moon in adventurous Sagittarius is normally associated with overdoing everything. However, its close conjunction with Pluto shades optimism with fear, inhibiting its exuberant spirit. Eccentric Uranus' square to this Sun-Moon opposition adds another layer of uncertainty. Inner feelings and outer events turn suddenly, undermining a sense of continuity. Sun in Cancer Friday, June 20, 5:00 pm PDT, 8:00 pm EDT The summer solstice (winter in Wolwehoek) signals a desire for the closeness of family and the comforts of home. Yet these tumultuous times suggest that safety comes from an ability to roll with the emotional punches instead of avoiding them completely. The Crab's shell is little protection against economic uncertainty; retreat is not an option. It's time to recognize the opening and closing of your own emotional shell, so that you become more aware of how your feelings function, enabling you to use them consciously instead of reacting unconsciously. Jupiter sesquisquare Saturn Thursday, June 26 This ungainly angle between the planets of expansion and contraction can make the management of major projects and long-range goals more challenging. The flow between hope and fear is easily interrupted, provoking strong responses in either direction. Counter doubt with education and over enthusiasm with a grounded sense of detail to rejoin hope and realism in one productive package. Uranus Retrograde Thursday, June 26 Rebellious Uranus' retrograde shift can slow down reevaluation activities in the outer world and turn the notion of liberation into an internal process. While this may delay the advance of radical projects, its gift is a reminder that freedom is something that lives in one's heart and mind. Freeing ourselves from the limits of our own beliefs releases pressure and enables creativity to reshape our lives. Mars in Virgo Tuesday, July 1, 9:21 am PDT, 12:21 pm PDT The action planet's presence in detail-oriented Virgo is a chance to refine techniques and develop new skills. It's easy to get tripped up by small stuff, so work hard to produce excellence rather than just trying to get by. Maintaining bodies and equipment ensures efficiency, which is important when time is limited. Improvement, not perfection, is a realizable goal. If you're not getting better at something you care about, seek training to raise your game. The New Moon in Gemini opens our eyes to a variety of possibilities and perspectives. This Sun-Moon conjunction balances intellect with art as Venus and Mars are active participants. The beauty of language and poetry of ideas enrich daily life with an elixir of sounds and sights that turn conversation into music. New this Summer!

Reiki Level One  $150

August 2-3 Saturday 5-8pm, Sunday 3-5pm 

These two evenings include a Reiki Level One attunement, Lecture and body work exchange.  This is the traditional method taught by Dr. Usui, the founder of Reiki.  Learn to how to heal yourself and others with this transformational healing modality.

 

Reiki Level Two  $200

August 9-10 Saturday 5-8pm, Sunday 3-5pm

These two evenings include a Reiki Level Two attunement, Lecture and body work exchange.  In Reiki Level Two, you will learn how to send healing energy long distance, and other advanced techniques.

 

Reiki Level Three  $250

August 16-17 Saturday 5-8, Sunday 3-5

The concluding evenings will also consist of a Reiki Level Three attunement, Lecture and body work exchange.  This is the master level attunement that enables you to fully experience and utilize the Rei (Universal) – Ki (Energy) to elevate your environments and live as a source of healing to all you encounter.

Finding Your Voice

Sunday July 20^th 3 – 6pm

Come and experience the ecstasy of the Naam.  We will explore kriyas and meditations especially designed by Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, that will open your throat chakra.  We will also take an in depth look into various  mantras to develop a deeper understanding and confidence in your ability to vibrate the cosmos!  No prior singing or Kundalini Yoga experience necessary.   Free booklet to all participants, and Live Musical Accompaniment!   

 

De-Stress Yoga

Tuesday nights 6 – 7:15pm

$95 for 7 week session, $18 drop in.

Just as the week is beginning, give yourself a treat.  Come unwind and relax into restorative yoga.  Calm your mind and replenish your vitality with awareness expanding meditation.  No need to live in anxiety and stress.  Learn the ancient technology of Kundalini Yoga gifted to you by Yogi Bhajan.

 

Beginner’s and Beyond

Saturday class: 9 – 10:15am

July 5^th through August 23^th. 

$120 for 8 Week session, $18 drop in

Suitable for Beginner’s as well as long time yogis.  Classes include warm ups, an invigorating yoga set and relaxation, followed by blissful meditation.  We will explore a variety of yoga sets and meditations for an experience of health, happiness and holiness.  Start the weekend happy!
